World Championship Seven Card Stud

The second week of the World Series of poker tournaments will be well under way by the time the World Championship Seven Card Stud event begins on June 7th.

It has a buy-in of some $10,000 so it is definately not for the faint hearted. This event always throws up some unusual winners so do keep your eyes out for it and if you have the time try and watch it as it is addictive viewing.

Second Ten World Series of Poker Events 

Event Number 10 is on June 5th and its the Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $2,500

Event Number 11 is on June 6th and its the No-Limit Hold’em Shootout this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $5,000

Event Number 12 is on June 6th and its the Limit Hold’em this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $1,500

Event Number 13 is on June 7th and its the No-Limit Hold’em this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $2,500

Event Number 14 is on June 7th and its the World Championship Seven Card Stud this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $10,000

Event Number 15 is on June 8th and its the Ladies No-Limit Hold’em World Championship this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $1,000

Event Number 16 is on June 8th and its the Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $2,000

Event Number 17 is on June 9th and its the No-Limit Hold’em Shootout this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $1,500

Event Number 18 is on June 9th and its the No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball w/Re-Buys this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $5,000

Event Number 19 is on June 10th and its the Pot-Limit Omaha this is a 3 day event. The Buy-in is $1,500

Chris Ferguson is no stranger to the final table and it was in the year 2000 that he took the top prize of a cool $1,500,000. He has notched up an impressive number of World Series of Poker bracelets and now has five of them!

Chris has been a fan of playing poker online since 1989 when he used to play on the IRC network. He is an intelligent guy and has a PhD in Computer Science. He has the amusing nick name of Jesus thanks to his long brown hair and beard. Keep you eyes out for Chris as we feel he has several more bracelets well within his grasp.
